Katsina
State Football Association secretary, Sani Tinau has disclosed that the Katsina State FA Cup final
between Katsina United and Katsina United Feeders Team has been postponed till
next week Sunday.
An LMC
circular earlier issued for all state cup finals to be concluded on or before
Sunday, May 7.
"Yes,
the Katsina State FA cup final has been postponed till next week Sunday, May
14,” confirmed Tinau.
"This
is because our Governor Aminu Masari is not in town and he had earlier declared
his interest to be part of the final.
"We
communicated with the LMC and they have granted our request to shift the state
FA Cup final to next week Sunday.”
Both
finalists, Katsina United and Katsina United Feeders, will represent Katsina
State in the national play-offs of the cup competition.
