Femi Thomas closes to Rangers’ move

By Taofeek Babalola

Rangers International Football Club of Enugu are close to completing a deal for the former Akwa United goalkeeper Femi Thomas, Sportinglens.blogspot.com understands.

Sportinglens.blogspot.com’s check on the team’s camp in Enugu revealed that the former Flying Eagles goalkeeper, who donned the colour of Enyimba FC last season, has verbally agreed deal with the former Champions.

Interestingly, Thomas worked under the tutelage of Rangers new technical adviser Gbenga Ogunbote at Enyimba last season and they have maintained cordial relationship.

“Thomas is one of the new players that are in the team’s camp. He arrived here two weeks ago and has been training with the rest of the squad. He has agreed terms with the club and we are about finalizing his move. Thomas is one of the experienced goalkeepers we have in the league now and he will be a good addition to the team,” a source told Sportinglens.blogspot.com.
