Katsina United not on revenge mission against Pillars, Says Biffo

By Taofeek Babalola

Katsina United technical adviser Abdullahi Biffo has said that his side is not motivated by the prospect of retribution against Kano Pillars when the two teams square off in the matchday 21 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) clash at Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano on Sunday, Sportinglens.blogspot.com reports.

Sai Masu Gida held The Changi Boys to a 2-2 draw at the Muhamadu Dikko Stadium, Katsina, in Biffo’s first major game for Katsina United in the first leg encounter earlier in the season.

Biffo told Sportinglens.blogspot.com that they are going to Kano to give their very best to enable them get something out of the game.

The former Niger Tornadoes manager stressed that they need to be at their best to beat Kano Pillars this weekend.

“We are not under pressure to play against Kano Pillars and revenge is far away from our mind,” Biffo said to Sportinglens.blogspot.com.

He added: “We are going to Kano to give our very best to enable us get something out of the game. You need to be at your best to play Kano Pillars either in Kano or anywhere because they are among the best teams in the country. But Katsina United have proved that they can get decent results anywhere as well. It is going to be an explosive game and the team that minimizes their mistakes will carry the day. Football is all about mistake and utilizes your chances.”
