Eagles' forward Ahmed Musa has secured freedom for 40 prison inmates in Kano as
part of Ramadan goodwill, Sportinglens.blogspot.com reports
The CSKA Moscow of Russia striker came to the rescue of the offenders who were convicted of minor financial indebtedness.
After the
Nigeria international arrived in Nigeria from his base earlier this week, he
had extended a helping hand to the needy.
Musa, who
was in the company of his Super Eagles' teammate, Shehu Abdullahi, was seen
giving money and food items to underprivileged persons in Kano metropolis.
Musa is
known for dishing out goodies to the poor whenever he is in town, especially
during the holy month of Ramadan.
The
Leicester City of England winger has since joined the rest of the Super Eagles'
Squad in Uyo in preparation for the FIFA World Cup in Russia.
