Super Eagles
technical Gernot Rohr coach has warned all the injured players in the 30-man
provisional squad to report to camp early to be assessed by the team's medical
personnel, Sportinglens.blogspot.com reports.
Rohr said
the technical crew are interested in knowing the fitness level of the players
to know if they can make the final 23-man list.
Several
players are recovering among them Liesister City midfilder Wilfried Ndidi, who
is nursing a hamstring injury, Torino’s Joel Obi, Mainz 05 defender Leon
Balogun and ADO Den Haag’s wing-back Tyronne Ebuehi are also battling for
fitness.
Las Palmas
of Spain midfield stalwart, Oghenekaro Etebo is also struggling to be in the
best form.
“Europe
based players who are injured have to come earlier to the camp. You have to
play well so that you deserve to be in our final list,” Rohr said in an
interview with Sportinglens.blogspot.com.
