Players and officials of Enyimba FC of Aba have arrived in Omoku, River State on a closed camping tour ahead of their second preliminary round CAF Confederations Cup tie against Diambers FC of Senegal, Sportinglens.blogspot.com reports.

The team departed Aba enroute Port Harcourt to Omoku on Friday.

Sportinglens.blogspot.com reports that the former CAF Champions League champions will play some friendly matches during their camping to ensure that the players get enough fitness level before their game.

Enyimba will be on the road for the first leg tie between 15-17 Octobers before hosting the return fixture a week later.

The People’s Elephants would be led by their new head coach Finidi George, who joined the club on Wednesday.

George signed a two-year contract with the eight-time Nigerian champions and replaces Fatai Osho whose contract expired at the end of August.
