Samad Kadiri sets title target with Kwara United

Kwara United new signing Samad Kadiri has expressed his readiness to help the Harmony Boys win silverware in the 2021/2022 football season, SportingLens.blogspot.com reports

Kadiri stated this after completing his switched to the Harmony Boys from Enyimba on Thursday.

The former Lobi Stars striker replaced Michael Ohanu, who departed Afonja Warriors to another clubside in Iraq at the end of last season.

Kadiri was one of the best strikers last season in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) as he helped the Enyimba finished among the top four on the final standings.

SportingLens.blogspot.com reports that the former Bayelsa United strongman has already started training with Kwara United and expressed happiness to join the club.

“I am glad to be joining Kwara United and I want to make it clear that I want to win the League with my new team because I believe that we can do it,” Kadiri said.

The team's Head Coach Abdullahi Biffo said he brought Kadiri into the team because he was impressed with his games last season.

“I asked him to come and join us because I was impressed with his performances last season and I believe he will help us in the coming season,” Biffo explained.

Kadari has also played for Bayelsa United F.C, Sunshine Stars, Lobi Stars before moving to Enyimba last season.

Kwara United finished among the top four teams last season, and the club’s management are working hard to make sure that significant success is achieved in the coming term.
