3SC 0 vs 3 FC Ifeanyi Ubah: Small doctor entertains Ibadan fans

It was the turn of football fans in the ancient city of Ibadan in their hundreds of thousands to have one unforgettable experiences, and it came courtesy of Star Lager Beer on Sunday. The event was a league match between two top Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) clubs, Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) FC of Ibadan and Ifeanyi Ubah FC.

Expectedly the two football clubs put up a fantastic display in a match that ended 0 – 3 in favour of Ifeanyi Ubah Football club which got the maximum three points.

While Ifeanyi Ubah Football club eventually won the cracker in a pulsating 90-minute display of the best the round leather game has got to offer, there really was no loser in the end as Nigeria’s premium beer brand, Star Lager Beer ensured both rival fans and every other person present at the venue had a swell time of fun, music and football.

To add some needed spice to the thrilling encounter, Star Lager Beer ensured there was enough music, beer and prizes to go round. And who else to deliver the ultimate fun experience during and after a match of that magnitude than street ambassador, fast rising music star and “Gbera” crooner, Small Doctor.

The popular Agege-born artist known for his energetic performances, exceptional stage craft and street-inspired lyrics, brought an exciting experience to fans at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan as he led them in a back-to-back sing-along of all his major hit songs including “Mosquito Killer,” “Ile Ijo,” “Gbera,” and “You Know.”

Small doctor’s Sunday performance follows Falz the bahd guy’s performance at the Agege stadium in March and Reekado Banks’ surprise appearance at the Liberation Stadium earlier this year when Enugu Rangers played against Rivers United in Port Harcourt courtesy of Star Lager Beer.

The music appearances at NPFL match venues further reiterate Star Lager Beer’s support for our local football league, which has continued to witness greater patronage and stadium attendance with the introduction of music performances by some of Nigeria’s biggest music stars at selected match venues across the country.
