CAF appoint Somalian referees for KCCA, Rivers United clash

Confederation Africa Football (CAF) has appointed Somalian FIFA referees to handle the CAF Confederation Cup game between Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) FC and Rivers United of Nigeria. The match will be played at Phillip Omondi stadium, Lugogo next Saturday in Kampala.

Hassan Mohamed Hagi will be the Center Referee assisted by Hamza Hagi Abdi and Bashir Sh. Abdi Suleiman as the first and second assistants.

The local champions are in group A alongside FUS Rabat (Morocco), Club Africain (Tunisia) and Rivers United (Nigeria). They came from a goal down to beat Club Africain (Tunisia) 2-1 early this week while FUS Rabat lost 1-0 to Rivers United.

The top-two teams in the group stages will qualify for the quarterfinals.
