Olaifa cries out: 3SC must escape relegation

Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan (3SC) FC defensive midfielder, Tolu Olaifa has charged his colleagues to brace up for the challenges ahead of them so as to save the club from relegating to the lower division.


Sportinglens.blogspot.com reports that the Oluyole Warriors suffered a shock 0-3 defeat to FC Ifeanyi Ubah in the matchday 20 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) encounter at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan on Sunday.

Olaifa admitted that everybody in the tea
m is down and remorseful, insisting that he and his teammates need extra efforts to keep 3SC in the NPFL.

“Everybody is down and remorseful. Right now we are in the relegation zone and if we are not careful that will be the end but we know with God and hard work all things are possible. I know things will change,” Olaifa said.  

The team resumed training on Tuesday after the disappointing defeat on Sunday.

Sportinglens.blogspot.com understands that the management, the technical crew and players had an appraisal meeting on Tuesday at the Ministry of Youth & Sports in Ibadan, Oyo State.


3SC is currently occupying 19th position on the log with 22 points from the 20 matches played so far.
