Katsina
United technical adviser, Abdullahi Biffo is confident of his team's ability to
reach the final stage of the ongoing Aiteo Cup competition, Sportinglens.blogspot.com reports.
Katsina United' will face Kano Pillars in the semi final clash on Wednesday at the Agege Stadium in a northern derby tie.
Biffo guided 'The Changi Boys' to a 3-1
victory over Kwara United in the quarter final clash on Wednesday at the Agege
Stadium, Lagos.
Goals from
Destiny Ashadi, Tasiu Lawal and Martins Usule ensured that Katsina United
are through to the semifinals
after they saw off the much determined Kwara United, who fought until the end
but eventually surrendered to a more experienced and tactical opponent.
Biffo told Sportinglens.blogspot.com that his team will prepare well for the game against Kano Pillars.
He added:
“It does not matter how the goals were scored but the important thing is the
victory that we got in the game. We are now in the semifinal and closer to the
trophy. We have to go back and work a lot harder than what we have been doing
before so that when we meet Kano Pillars in the semi-final we will beat them to get to
the final. We are still improving as a team, but we are yet to reach our target
and so we will keep working hard.”
We are going to beat them by god grace up up KT united
