Kano State Government has boosted Kano Pillars morale by settling all their players and technical crew accumulated
outstanding match bonuses amounting to seven million naira, Sportinglens.blogspot.com reports.

Officer, Rilwanu Idris Malikawa told Sportinglens.blogspot.com that the State Government fulfilled its made to the team to pay the players and technical crew their bonuses
before the AITEO CUP final against Rangers International FC of Enugu slated for
Asaba Stadium, Delta State on Wednesday.
“As far as
2017/2018 season is concerned, the club does not owe any player or member of
technical crew a dime; either salaries or match bonuses,” Malikawa said to Sportinglens.blogspot.com.
Speaking on
behalf of the players, the team’s captain Gambo Mohammed commended the State
Government for settling all their entitlement.
He promised
that the team will reciprocate the gesture by giving all their best to the
Aiteo Cup final and bring the trophy to the State for the first time.
Gambo said
he and his teammates are in confident mood ahead of the clash. He urged the
team’s fans all over the country to pray for the team.
Meanwhile, The
State Deputy Governor Dr Nasiru Gawuna had on Tuesday redeemed on Tuesday
redeemed his cash gift promised to the team.
He gave the
sum of fifty thousand naira to the club’s goalkeeper David Obiazo, who he named
as the Most Valuable Player in the game against Katsina United while the sum of
two hundred thousand naira was given to the rest of the team.
