The management of Niger Tornadoes has appointed Bernard Ogbe as the new technical adviser ahead of the forthcoming Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season, Sportinglens.blogspot.com reports.

The official unveiling was done at the club’s secretariat in Minna, Niger State on Friday evening.

Ogbe was the head coach of the Nigeria National League (NNL) side Mighty Jets of Jos until his recent appointment.

Dangana stressed that the management signed Ogbe because of his past and present experience in the Nigeria professional football.

Ogbe, who returned to Minna-based outfit, won Federation Cup trophy with Ikoh Allah as technical adviser in 2000 when they defeated Rangers International 1-0 in the final in Lagos.

He was also in charge of the team when they played in the WAFU Cup and Winners’ Cup competitions in 2001.

Ogbe will be assisted by Hamza Abara as the Chief Coach, Abubakar Ndanusa will serve as goalkeeper trainer while Ibrahim Aliu a.k.a Yaro Alala will be trainer.

“The management has appointed Ogbe as new technical adviser for the team. Ogbe is our former coach and he knows the terrain very well. His past and present experience in the league will help the team to achieve its set goals. He is an experienced and disciplinarian coach. I have no doubt in my mind that he will achieve great thing with the club,” Dangana told Sportinglens.blogspot.com.
