The management of Wikki Tourist FC of Bauchi has appointed Abdullahi Musa and Idris Guda as Captain and assistant captain of the club respectively, Sportinlens.blogspot.com understands.
The club
chairman Auwalu Babajada said the decision to appoint the players in that
positions was based on their commitment, dedication and selfless service they
have been rendering to the club.
He therefore
charged them to justify the confidence repose in them by giving good leadership
to the team.
The new captain
Musa thanked the management for finding them worthy for the position. He promised
to give good leadership and solicited for co-operation from every one.
Both players
have represented the national teams at various levels.
Musa was part of the home-based Eagles that won silver medals at the 2018 CHAN tournament in Morocco while Idris Guda is
a member of the U20 national team.
