Super Eagles
midfielder Wilfred Ndidi will miss the South Africa game after picking up a
needless yellow card in the 2019 African Nations qualifying Group E return leg
against Libya this evening at the Stade Taïeb Mhiri in Sfax, Tunisia, Sportinglens.blogspot.com reports.
Nigeria
moved to the top of the Group E with nine points after defeating home side
Libya 3-2.
Two goals
from Odion Ighalo and another strike from Ahmed Musa gave the Super Eagles
their third straight win in Group E.
The Super
Eagles now lead Group E with nine points. South Africa whom Nigeria face in
Johannesburg on November 17 is second with eight points.
Libya are
now third with four points from four games and Seychelles occupy the bottom of
the log with one point also from four games.
Meanwhile, Ahmed
Musa has moved past Samson Siasia (16 goals) and now level with Sunday
Oyarekhua (17 goals) on Super Eagles all time goal scoring chart.
