PRESIDENT of the Nigerian Coaches' Association (NCA), Isa Ladan Bosso, has
denied media report that top Nigerian national coaches failed the CAF A
Coaching License course recently concluded at the FIFA Goal Project, Package B
of the National Stadium Abuja.
Bosso admitted
that out of the 45 registered for the course, two coaches could not finish
because they missed two key aspect of the programme.
In a chat
with Sportinglens.blogspot.com, El Kanemi Warrior’s technical adviser said the course
was evaluation of coaches and not examination.
“There was
no examination during the course, it was just an evaluation. 45 coaches registered but two were unable to
finish the course. They were absent for presentation of their thesis and practical
and there is no way they could be issued certificate. Even if there was examination,
people should know that examination is not the true test of knowledge. What we
did was evaluation and not exam. People should top undermining the coaches. From
information I gathered, the least score was 51% and highest was 81%. So people
should stop spreading false information,” Bosso told Sportinglens.blogspot.com.
