Ikpea charges Eagles to beat Algeria

The Super Eagles have been charged to beat the foxes of Algeria in the Russia 2018 World Cup qualification game slated for November 12th at the Uyo stadium. Speaking with the press in his office, the Secretary - General of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club, Rev. Sam lkpea, remarked that the all important match is a must win for the Super Eagles. He recalled that the game which would be Nigeria's 100th world cup qualification match, would go on to put the team on a good stead to qualify for the world cup.

"It is a must win for Nigeria because beating Algeria would definitely place us in a vantage position in the group, "he said.

The experienced scribe who is also aspiring for the exalted seat of the NFSC national chairman, went on to disclose plans of supporters club to storm Uyo in large numbers to spur the Super Eagles to victory.

" I want to say that with the renewed peace and unity in the NFSC, Nigerians and the world, should expect our usual spirited and infectious singing and dancing on that day. Remember, we are the 12th man on the pitch and we are set for victory, "Ikpea enthused.


He further admonished the NFF to rally efforts and do everything possible to ensure better preparations for the match. Adding that no stone should be left unturned as soccer fans would not accept any form of excuse for failure.
