.Says players' welfare is top priority

The chairman of Kano Pillars Tukur Babangida has warned that his board would not encourage any acts of indiscipline in the team as he assured that they would do their best to restore the glory of the club.

Babangida made the statement while addressing the players shortly after their training session at the Kano Pillars stadium Sabon Gari, Kano.

He pledged that his board will give top priority to the players’ welfare.

The Kano State-born administrator said they were at the stadium to introduce themselves to the players and technical crew of the team as well as to solicit their co-operation for the success of the team.

“At the management level, we would do everything possible to ensure that the welfare of the players is catering for and their benefits are giving to them as at when due, Babangida said.

He explained further that his door would remain open for any meaningful advice and criticism that will assist his board in discharging its duties effectively.

“Let me remind you that we are here as a board to inform you that we are ready to cater for all your needs in order to make you comfort for our collective success in the forthcoming 2016/2017 season,” He stated.
