Players and officials of El Kanemi Warriors arrived in Lagos
on Monday aboard Azman Airline ahead of Wednesday’s matchday 16 of the Nigeria
Professional Football League (NPFL) clash against Shooting Stars Sports Club
(3SC) at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan.
Sportinglens.blogspot.com gathered that the delegation arrived at the
Murtala International Airport, Lagos at 6:15pm and connected a bus to Ibadan to
intensify preparation for the match.
The club’s media officer, Anthony Obaseki told Sportinglens.blogspot.com
that 28-man delegation which included players and officials made the trip.
“The government and management are doing everything for
the team to make sure that we achieve something great this season. This is not
the first time we are travelling by air for away game this season. This is done
so as to enable the players to get ready for the match. We hope for fruitful
result in Ibadan,” Obaseki said to Sportinglens.blogspot.com.
