Sportinglens.blogspot.com can report that a Shari’a court 7 at the Fagge Municipal Council Area in Kano State has remanded a Kano Pillars fan, Ibrahim Muhammad Bello Panshekara, in police custody for field encroachment.

The judge of the court, Nasiru Abba Magashi, said the suspect should remain in waiting trail for further hearing on his case.

He adjourned the case till March 28 for mention.

Panshekara was arrested by Kano Pillars FC Fans Security Committee on Sunday when he entered the pitch after Gambo Muhammad scored Sai Masu Gida’s third goal at 92 minutes in the 3-1 win over Enyimba in the matchday 12 of Nigeria professional football league (NPFL) clash at the Sani Abacha Stadium Kano.

He was charged to court on Monday for the encroachment of the pitch by the management of Kano Pillars.

The Kano State Football Association Secretary, Alh. Shehu Buhari, who is following the case in the court, confirmed to Sportinglens.blogspot.com that the case would be handled very well.

The club’s media officer, Rilwanu Idris Malikawa said the club will not condone fans unruly behaviors at the stadium.

“There is no way we will allow fan to enter the pitch during the game. What happened on Sunday was an exceptional case and we have sent a strong warning by charging him to court, so that others who have the intention of doing the same thing will know that it is not business as usual,” Malikawa said to Sportinglens.blogspot.com.
