3SC pip MFM as thugs invade Agege pitch

.MFM suffer first home defeat

Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan continued their resurgence under coach Gbenga Ogunbote after securing a vital 1-0 away win against Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) FC at the Agege Stadium on Sunday.

It was the first time the Olukoya Boys will be tasting defeat at home this season.

New signing Ebitimi Agogo scored the decisive goal eight minutes from time in the Match Day 23 of the Nigeria Professional Football (NPFL) clash to boost Oluyole Warriors’ survival hope.

The play was delayed afterwards as thugs suspected to be supporters of the home team invaded the pitch and attempted to beat up the officials.

The quick intervention of the League Management Company (LMC) officials at the stadium brought everything back to normalcy.

It is yet to be seen the kind of penalty that will be melted out to the Oluyoya Boys for their inability to control their home fans.

It would be recall that Giwa FC of Jos was banished to Ilorin for a similar situation during fist stanza of the ongoing campaign.
