In a chat with Sportinglens.blogspot.com, Kano Pillars media officer, Idris Malikawa decried center referee, Francis A from Niger State display as he called on the League management Company (LMC) to investigate the match.

“Nigerian referees need to adjust and LMC too should try and watch the activities of the referees. We are all appreciating what LMC have been doing so far but if the referees are allow to continue in this way they will jeopardized the good work of the LMC. You can imagine center referee telling our players that they are wasting their time. LMC should investigate what happen in our match today,” Malikawa said to Sportinglens.blogspot.com.

Malikawa, however, praised his team for their fighting spirit during the game.

“We commended our players and technical crew for their performances today. We knew the reasons why we lost the game today. We were really disappointed for the outcome of the match.”
