Players of Rangers
International Football club of Enugu have expressed determination towards
securing another away victory on Sunday against Plateau United FC of Jos in a
Match Day 22 of the Nigeria Professional Football League.
Basking in
the euphoria of their 2-1 win over Heartland FC in Owerri and 1-0 victory over
Kano Pilars FC in Enugu on Wednesday, the Flying Antelopes vowed that nothing
will stop them from securing the maximum three points against Plateau United.
The club’s
Media Director, Foster Chime said the players after their full training session
on Thursday evening before departing for Jos, Friday morning promised to maintain their winning streak with another
emphatic away victory.
“The players
said that with the recent financial motivation from the State Governor, Hon.
Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi nothing will stop them from reciprocating this gesture by
winning the two straight away matches with Plateau United and Niger Tornadoes,”
Chime said.
The Technical
Adviser of Rangers, Imama Amapakabo said his players would take their wining mentality
to the match which he described as a must win match.
Rangers FC currently occupies second position on
the league table with 35 points from 21 matches.
