Lobi Stars
FC of Makurdi have strengthened its squad with seven players during the ongoing
Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) mid transfers window.
The club’s
Team Manager, Barnabas Imenger told Sportinglens.blogspot.com that the Nigerian goalkeeper Chigozie Agbim joined the club from Rangers International.
Imenger
added that the club signed Cletus Itodo and Nathaniel Joseph from Shooting
Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan. Other players include Oluwaseun Harrison
from Ikorodu United, Omotayo Rufus and Harrison Chukwudi from an academy as well
as Berna Ikwue from Lobi Junior.
Imenger
described the new signing as quality addition to the team.
“They are
quality addition to our weak areas and we hope they can bring more character,
maturity, balance and experience to the team. Lobi Stars are ambitious team and
we have our set target for the season. The players know that they have to give
their best to the team all the time and the management is ready to give
technical crew maximum support to achieve their aims,” Imenger told
Sportinglens.blogspot.com.
