Biffo’s suspension: Supporters’ club disagree with management

.In emergency meeting with Commissioner for Sports

Niger Tornadoes Supporters’ club has expressed shock and disappointment over the suspension of the team’s technical adviser, Abdullahi Biffo.

Biffo was suspended last week by the chairman club’s Management Committee, Adamu Aliyu, for anti-club activities.

In a telephone chat with SportingLens.blogspot.com, the supporters’ Club Secretary, Ibrahim Dantala said the chairman took decision without due consultation.

Dantala said Biffo deserved commendation for what he has achieved for the club rather than humiliation he was subjected to.

Dantala said Supporter’ club have started boycotting Ikoh Allah’s game and they will continue to do so until management rescind its decision.

“We are dissociating ourselves with the decision taken by the management and we are not part of it. The suspension given to technical adviser is not necessary. All allegation level against him was false. We are appealing to state government and sports ministry for urgent intervention to save the club. Biffo guided the team to promotion last season and 13th position in the first round. So there is no reason to disrespect such person,” Dantala told SportingLens.blogspot.com.

SportingLife gathered that the Niger State Commissioner for Sports, Mamman Musa Maikunkele called for an emergency meeting with the supporters’ club on Monday evening.
