Arsenal have
joined Chelsea in the race for Alvaro Morata's signature, according to Gianluca
Di Marzio. Arsene
Wenger revealed at the weekend that he was planning on making two more signings
this summer and has identified the Juventus striker as a target after missing
out on Jamie Vardy.
Chelsea are
still monitoring the situation, with Real Madrid holding a cut-price buy-back
clause on the Spain international and are expected to be open to selling him on
for a profit during the summer transfer window.
Juventus are
willing to sell Morata, who scored twice for Spain against Turkey are Euro 2016
on Friday, at a higher fee than the €32 million figure Real Madrid are able to
trigger.
