Rangers
coach, Imama Amapakabo, is confident that his team can finally end their long
wait for a first Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) title in 32 years
after their 1-1 draw at Niger Tornadoes on Sunday. He declared that Tornadoes were lucky to have earned a draw from the fixture and
insisted his side deserved to win the game given their dominant performance.
Imama
however is still optimistic that he has the touch to lead the Flying Antelopes
end their three decades of trophy drought.
"It's a
competition, every team wants to win the league and we led on the log for a
very long time in the first round but lost ground. Now, we are not doing badly
though we will still continue to push as our focus remains the same, which is
to win the league, Imama said.
