Suspension stops key players from NPFL final day matches

Some key players will be out of action for their clubs in Sunday's final round of the 2015/2016 of the Nigeria professional Football League (NPFL) across the venues in the country. Sportinglens.blogspot.com reports that the concerned players were outstanding and valuable for their respective clubs this season. 

According to the information provided by the League Management Company (LMC), the affected players were ruled out due to suspension.

Wikki Tourists' Abubakar Lawal will watch from the sidelines as his side take on Sunshine Stars at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium in Bauchi. Lawal is suspended.

Also, Warri Wolves go toe-to-toe with Ikorodu United without their captain Goodluck Onamado who is suspended after a red card offense on Matchday 37 encounter.

The table-toppers Rangers International will have to face El-Kanemi Warriors without Godwin Aguda, who is suspended owing to accumulated cards.

The relegated side, Ikorodu United will be without Kabir Balogun when they face Warri Wolves. He is suspended.


Similarly, Akwa United duo of Friday Ubong and Yusuf Adio will sit out against Rivers United due to suspension.
