Aiteo Cup final: Akwa Utd to face Niger Tornadoes

Akwa United defeated Sunshine Stars of Akure 3-1 in the second leg of the Aiteo Cup semi final clash at the God’swill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo on Sunday to qualify for the final on 3-2 aggregate.

Sunshine Star won the first leg encounter 1-0 at Ijebu-Ode but the Duke Udi tutored-side succumbed to the fire-power of the Abdul Maikaba-led side on Sunday evening.

The Promised Keepers will now face Niger Tornadoes in the final clash on Sunday at the Agege Stadium, Lagos.

Niger Tornadoes book a final ticket after defeating the defending champions, FC Ifeanyi Ubah 4-3 on aggregate.
