Kano State-based
FIFA Referee, Bashir Salisu will be at the centre when Niger Tornadoes and Akwa
United battle for the Aiteo Federation's Cup final at Agege Stadium, Lagos, on
Sunday.
Salisu, who
was badged in 2016, will be assisted by Bauchi State-based Peter Ogwu and
Abdulmajeed Usman Olajide of Oyo State Referees Council as Assistant Referee 1
and 2 respectively. Both are FIFA
referees.
On the bench
is Ago Abubakar of Yobe State Referees council who is on the track to witness
his last game as a FIFA referee will be the fourth official while Kwara State
Referees member, Emmanuel Dada Obafemi, FIFA Rtd will be the Referee Assessor,
Head of NFF Refereeing Unit/ Secretary of the NFF Referees Committee Sani
Zubairu FIFA retired will act as the Match Officials Coordinator.
