Katsina
United chairman Aminu Kurfi has disclosed to Sportinglens.blogspot.com that the club has
received an offer from a German club for the team’s top striker Chinedu
Udechukwu.
Udechukwu,
who scored 11 goals for ‘The Changi Boys’ in the NPFL, has been linked with
several top clubs.
But Kurfi confirmed
that Udechukwu would move to a German club in January.
The club’s
chairman insisted that the 23-year- forward has a binding contract with Katsina
United till 2019 and the club is not ready to allow him to join any local club.
“As I said, Chinedu is still under contract
with us and we expected him to respect his contract. We have received an offer
for him from a German club. He will join the club in January when everything is
sorted out,” Kurfi told Sportinglens.blogspot.com.
Kurfi added:
“Katsina United gave everything to win promotion and we also gave everything to
stay up in the NPFL against all odds.
