Wikki Tourists General Manager, Auwalu Baba Jada has warned that any old player who fails to report to the team’s camp in Bauchi on Sunday October 22 will not be regarded as a member of the club again, Sportinglens.blogspot.com reports.

The club resumed training season last week in preparation for the 2017/2018 Nigeria Professional Football League season after their end of the season break but some old players are yet to return to the club.

Baba Jada said he won’t welcome any excuses from any player who resume after the deadline, insisting that the club is poised to have a good preparation for the next season.

He also revealed to Sportinglens.blogspot.com that the new players will resume camping on Tuesday.

“Ordinarily, the club has resumed but some old players are yet to join us, the attitude we are not ready to tolerate any more. Any players who refuse to resume on Sunday should forget about our club. We want to know players who are ready for us so that we can begin our preparation. Invitations have been sent to new players and they will resume camping on Tuesday. We want to have the bet squad for next season,” Baba Jada told Sportinglens.blogspot.com.

Sportinglens.blogspot.com understands that club’s technical adviser, Bala Nikyu is still in charge of the team. The former Flamingoes manager rescued Wikki Tourists from relegation last season.

It is believed that the club trusted Nikyu’s ability to lead the team for another season.
