Rivers United FC of Port Harcourt have dropped former Nasarawa United midfielder, Esosa Igbinoba and nine others from the 31 players registered for the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) last season, Sportinglens.blogspot.com reports.

According to a release made available to SportingLife on Friday, Igbinoba’s name was conspicuously missing among the 21 players retained by the club for the new season.
