The
management of Kano Pillars has opened talks with Remo Stars captain Victor
Mboama with the hope of signing him for the forthcoming Nigeria Professional
Football League (NPFL), Sportinglens.blogspot.com can reveal.
Kano Pillars
media officer, Idris Malikawa told Sportinglens.blogspot.com that Mboama is one
of the new six players invited to the team’s camp.
Malikawa
said Sai Masu Gida’s management and its counterpart from Remo Stars have begun
negotiation on the possible move for the utility striker.
Mboama was
one of the outstanding players for the relegated Remo Stars but his impact was
not enough to save his team from relegation to the lower division at the end of
the just concluded NPFL season.
“Mboama is
one of the players we think will add value to our team next season. We have
talked to his team and we are working seriously on the deal. Hopefully he will
be one of our players next season. We have identified lots of quality players
that can deliver success for the club and we have ready to everything possible
to achieve something next season,” Malikawa said to Sportinglens.blogspot.com.
