Nasarawa United supporter breaks leg in motor accident

Supporters of Nasarawa United cheated death on Friday when the bus they were travelling in was involved in a fatal accident that that left one person with broken leg. It is understood that many people suffered various degree of injuries in the accident which occurred on their way back home from a Federation Cup match just a day after Rivers United team bus was involved in a crash.

The official bus of the Nasarawa supporters was a write-off on Friday after it crashed on its way back from Enugu, where the Lafia club dumped out cup holders Akwa United after penalties.

The accident happened in Taruku, Benue State but no life was lost, but one of the supporters suffered fracture on his leg.

An official of the club told Sportinglens.blogspot that the supporter who suffered fracture is receiving treatment at the hospital.

“It is not something we want to make noise but we thank God that no life was lost. Apart from one person who suffered a fracture in his leg all other people are okay. He is in the hospital now receiving treatment. All is well,” he said to Sportinglens.blogspot.com.
