Bala Nkiyu resigns as Katsina United coach

Coach Bala Nkiyu has quit his position as Katsina United technical adviser.

The former Flamingo coach tendered his resignation on Thursday, citing personal reasons.

He left his position after five matches in charge of the club.
A club op official, who confirmed the report to Sportinglens.blogspot.com, said his assistant, coach Bauldwin Bazuaye will take over as acting technical adviser.

"Coach Nkiyu has resigned. He said he did that on personal reason. His resignation won't affect the team's plans. Coach Basuaye will carry on in acting capacity for now. We wish him best of luck," a club official said.
