Dream team to wear white jerseys against Colombia

 

Nigeria U-23 team, Dream Team VI, will for the first time in the tournament, don white jerseys in the game against Colombia on Wednesday. The players have already been handed two pairs of white jerseys each, as has been the practice since the commencement of the tournament.

Each player is given two pairs of jerseys for each game, so that he can put on a fresh one when coming out for the second half in each game.

The Nigeria U23 became the first side through to the quarterfinals of the men's football event following victories over Japan and Sweden.

 

Having secured qualification for the knockout rounds and top spot in Group B with one preliminary game to spare.

 

Nigeria will meet the second placed side from Group A which could very likely be the hosts, Brazil, in the quarterfinals.
