. Comes 2nd behind Usain Bolt

Nigeria’s Divine Oduduru has qualified for the semi final of the 200m at the ongoing Rio Olympic after finishing in 2nd behind Usain Bolt in the heats.

Oduduru who was running from Lane 8, attacked the curve very fast and maintained his speed down the home straight, to wade off at least 4 other athletes who had better Personal Bests (PBs) and Season’s Bests (SBs).

Usain Bolt ran a time of 20.28 seconds while Nigeria’s Oduduru ran 20.34 seconds. The Nigerian has now qualified for the semi-finals.

Oduduru said he is happy over his achievement as he expressed joy for having hand shake with the world’s fastest man Usain Bolt.

“It was nice to shake hands with the big man @usainbolt after the race. I am humbled,” Oduduru twitted.
