Kwambe, Agbim, Nane, Atamba resume training

Lobi Stars have been handed a significant injury boost with the news that Solomon Kwambe, Barnabas Nane Imenger, Chigozie Agbim and James Atamba have all resumed full training session with the rest of the squad.

Sportinglens.blogspot.com report that Kwambe has not been part of the team since he picked up an injury in the game against Sunshine Stars some weeks back.

Nane sustained a groin injury during his side’s home game against Heartland FC while Kole Somalia has been ruled out with an ankle injury.

The team’s goalkeeper Agbim had a shoulder injury during a training session hours before the game against Rangers International in Enugu.

It was gathered from team’s camp that Atamba has been struggling for fitness after playing ten league matches for the Markurdi-based side.

In a chat with Sportinglens.blogpot.com, the club’s Team Manager Barnabas Imenger Snr said the players’ return is good news to the team and fans.

“The players are coming back at the right time. This will make the selection easy for the coaching crew. We are in the last stage of the competition and we need our players back. We have to make good use of this in ensuring that we get things right with our selection. It is our hope that we will pick a continental ticket at the end of the season,” Imenger told SportingLens.blogspot.com.
