The trio of
Ajani Ibrahim, Wasiu Jimoh and Tayo Adebodun are in talks with Shooting Stars
Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan for a possible return to the club few months after
they left for greener pasture elsewhere, Sportinglens.blogspot.com can reveal.
The players
left the Oluyole Warriors at the end of last season.
Sportinglens.blogspot.com
reports that Ajani is coming back from Jordan where he went for holiday while
Jimoh and Adebodun are making a return from FC Ifeanyi Ubah and Enyimba
respectively.
A source in
the team's camp in Ibadan revealed that the players preferred 3SC after their
experiences at their new club.
It was also
gathered that the management are making efforts to accept them back based on
their contributions to the clubs last season. And efforts are ongoing to
finalise their deals in the ongoing mid-season transfer window.
"We
have some of our former players who are planning to come back to the team. Adebodun
actually love it here but he followed Gbenga Ogunbote to Enyimba. Wasiu Jimoh has
also expressed his desire to come back from FC Ifeanyi Ubah. There is no doubt
that they are professional players and their return will be a good addition to
the club. Their experience will be of advantage to the team," a source
said to Sportinglens.blogspot.com.
