Warriors technical adviser, Abdullahi Biffo has urged his colleagues not to be
distracted with the incessant sacking of coaches in the Nigeria Professional
Football League (NPFL) with the current situation.
Biffo
admitted that the environment Nigerian coaches are working is uncertain, as he
insisting that their destiny is no longer in their hands.
The former
Rangers International FC coach, Imama Amapakabo was the latest casualty to be
relieved of his job on Monday, making it the fifth coach so far that have been
shown the exit door this season.
In a chat
with Sportinglens.blospot.com, Biffo urged his contemporaries not to subject themselves to
pressure.

“Despite the
fact that coaching job in Nigeria is full of pressure, our destiny is not in
our hands again. But as a coach, we have to believe that if something is
happening today that is not in our favour another good thing can happen
tomorrow. If we know that, our mind would be at rest. Even if the club are
giving you pressure you must not lose focus.
I am not bothered about that,” Biffo said to Sportinglens.blospot.com.
The former
Niger Tornadoes manager has however expressed sympathy with coach Amapakabo.
“Before we
were given a job, a target was set for us. The one that baffles me and
everybody is Imama (Amapakabo). I think he deserved a lot of respect. They
should have rallied round him and gave him all necessary support to make sure
he repeats the feat that gave them league title last season. He is passing
through a trying time and I know he is going to survive it.”
