Madagascan officials to officiate Zesco Utd, Rangers clash

By Taofeek Babalola
Confederation of Africa Football (CAF)  has appointed Madagascan referees to officiate the Confederations Cup playoff match between Zesco United and Enugu Rangers International of Nigeria.

Hamanda El Moussa Nampiandraza will be assisted by Pierre Jean Eric Andrivoavonjy and Jinoro Velomanana.

The game will be played on Saturday at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola 15 hours local time. The first leg ended  2-2.

Zesco United head coach Zlatko Krmpotic says away draw against Enugu Rangers has put his side as favourites to qualify.

Zesco rallied from two-down to hold the Nigerian champions 2-2 in a first leg match at Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu.

“This a good result for us but it is only the first leg,” Krmpotic said.

“What is important for me is only how my team plays and not about Enugu Rangers. We still have 90 minutes to play and it will be different at home and I think we have the ability to win the final leg and qualify to the group stage.”
