Fabiyi not interested in Gombe Utd exit

By Taofeek Babalola

Gombe United FC first choice goalkeeper, Emmanuel Fabiyi is not thinking about leaving Gombe United despite rumours of potential exit during the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) transfer window.

SportingLens.blogspot.com reports that FC Ifeanyi Ubah and Akwa United are keeping tabs with the former Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) save hands with the hope of luring him to their teams.

But the Beninois said he is enjoying his stay at Gombe United and promised to help the team achieve something great this season.

“At Gombe United I found a home away from home, as such I will do my best for the success of the club this season," Fabiyi said.

Fabiyi, who has kept five clean sheets in his 13 outing for the Savannah Scorpions, applauded the supporters of the club for their undiluted support and called for more support.
