The
Technical Adviser of Plateau United Football Club of Jos Kennedy Boboye says he
intends to beef up its squad with eight new players in order to fortify the
team in the second stanza of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
Boboye, who
spoke through the media Officer of the club, Albert Dakup, explained that the
new players will replace the unproductive ones that would be released by the
club during the mid-season.
He noted
that some of the players that would be released failed to click into the plans
of the technical crew while other are leaving on disciplinary grounds.
The former
Abia Warriors coach, who joined the club this season, disclosed that out of the
eight players that would be recruited, three are strikers while the rest are
midfielders.
The former
Sunshine Stars of Akure gaffer stressed that the new addition will add more
bite to the team as they eye the league title at the end of the season.

International of Enugu have been promised an instant double match bonus by the club’s
General Manager if they can overcome the CAF Confederations Cup campaigners in
the rescheduled match which is yet to get a date by the League Management
Company (LMC).
