The Nigeria
Professional Football league (NPFL) went on two weeks break after week 19
matches on Wednesday.
But Ogbeide while
addressing the players at their training session at the Aper Aku stadium on Monday
morning insisted that the team will use the break to prepare for the second
stanza of the season.
The former
Sunshine Stars of Akure head coach said there is no need for holiday as the team
needs a total concentration if they are to get their desire position at the end
of season.
Mr Ogbeide
also hinted on possibility of bringing new players to fill in some key position
but warned that lazy players won’t be accepted in his programme. He further stated
that he will use the break to change the team’s game approach which is the only
way the club could achieve its ultimate goal.
“It’s very
important we take opportunity of this two weeks break and prepare ourselves if
we are to achieve our target,” Ogbeide said.
