Former Super Eagles coach Paul Hamilton would be buried on Friday April 28, according to his family. The eldest daughter of the former Super Falcons coach, Christe Hamilton, said the two days programme will start on April 27 and ends April 28.

According to her, the wake-keep, service of songs, lying-in-state as well as entertainment of guest would be held at the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.

Christe told SportingLens.blogspot.com that her father would be laid to rest at the Ebony Vault, Ikoyi, Lagos on Friday April 28.

She said the family has reached out to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to be part of the programme, adding that the family want the NFF to responsible for the their father’s casket and Vault while the family would take care of the entertainment.

“Our father would be buried in Lagos. We decided to bury him in Lagos because of the mammoth crowd that would wants to be part of the programme. His home town can’t occupy that crowd. Although, we are yet to see any official of the NFF to come and greet us since our father died but I went to Abuja to inform the officially about our father’s demise. All we want from NFF is to take care of the casket and Vault. We have submitted Ebony’s invoice of N4.5m requested to the NFF. We want a befitting burial for our father,” she said to SportingLens.blogspot.com.

However, the president of the Nigeria Football Coaching Association, Ladan Bosso has promised the family that he and his colleagues would accord the late coach his due respect.

Bosso made the promise when he paid a condolence visit to the family last Saturday in Lagos.
