The
management of Wikki Tourists of Bauchi has parted ways with its technical adviser
Mohammed Baba Ganaru, Sportinglens.blogspot.com can exclusively report.
According to
a letter signed by the club's media officer, Nasiru Kobi which was exclusively
obtained by Sportinglens.blogspot.com, revealed that the management has given
Ganaru four weeks’ notice of termination of contract beginning from the 21st
April, 2017 as provided in the contract agreement.
Kobi added
that the termination of the contract by the management was as a result of the
club's dwindling performance of the club since the beginning of the 2016/2017
of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
He noted
that the management has yet to name a replacement for the former Kano Pillars
gaffer.
The letter
reads in part: "The management of Wikki Tourists Football Club of Bauchi
has terminated its contract with the technical adviser, Muhammed Usman Baba
(Babaganaru). The management has given Ganaru four weeks’ notice of termination
of contract beginning from the 21st April, 2017 as provided in the contract
agreement.
"The
management, has however, not named a replacement of Babaganaru. The termination
of the contract by the management was as a result of the club's dwindling
performance of the club since the beginning of the 2016/2017 of the Nigeria Professional
Football League (NPFL)."
