Tourists have received an injury boost as trio of Shammah Paul Tanze, Abdullahi
Musa and Abubakar Lawan have been declared fit for
Sunday's matchday 17 of Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) clash
against Plateau United in Jos.
Sportinglens.blogspot.com
reports that Tanze picked up an injury in the game against Sunshine Stars in
Akure, Musa sustained injury in the game against Mountain of Fire and Miracles
Ministries while Lawan had been nursing a groin injury since the game against
Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) in Bauchi.
The club's
media officer, Nasiru Abdullahi Kobi told Sportinglens.blogspot.com that their
return will serve as a morale booster to the team.
Out of the three players, Only Tanze was not listed for the clash against
Plateau United in Jos.
Kobi also
informed that the club's Chairman, Isa Matori charged the players to play their
hearts and ensure victory in the game against Plateau United.
"The
chairman Matori gave pep-talk to the players after their last training on
Friday morning at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, Bauchi. He commended them
for the victory recorded against Enyimba on Thursday and promised to
reciprocate the good performance. He is happy that the team has been winning
their home games after the ultimatum given to them. He promised to surprise
them with a gift if they pick at least a point in Jos. Another good news is
that three of our players who had been nursing injuries would be available for
the match. We hope to return with good result," Kobi said to Sportinglens.blogspot.com.
