‘Enyimba still in title race’ – Aigbogun
Enyimba head coach, Paul Aigbogun believes his side have been

SAMSON Siasia, who coached Nigeria’s men’s football team to a
bronze medal at the Rio Olympics, is quitting the game in his country because

MFM will bounce back to winning ways, says Onuwa
Mountain

Chukwuka Onuwa has said his side will use this weekend match to bounce back to
winning ways. MFM
FC will host Abia Warriors Football Club of Aba this Sunday in match day 33 of
the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) scheduled to hold at the Agege
Township Stadium.
MFM FC set for eight days of football survival
As
the 2015/16 Nigeria Professional Football League season gradually grinds to an
end, the Olukoya Boys are set for eight days of Football that will see them
play three crucial matches starting from this Sunday, August 28, 2016. MFM
FC currently occupies the 18th position on the Nigeria top-flight table with 37
points from 29 league matches.

Arsenal agree £16.9m bid for Perez
Arsenal have
agreed the signing of Lucas Perez from Deportivo for £16.9million after revising
the structure of their bid. Arsenal were
told their initial offer was 'unacceptable' as they attempted to pay the 27-year-old
striker's buyout clause in two instalments but his club Deportivo demanded the fee
in one payment.
Bravo completes Manchester City move

Bravo has completed his move from Barcelona to Manchester City on a four-year
deal. The Chilean
goalkeeper completed his medical at the club earlier this week, but the move
was held up while Barcelona waited for official confirmation that they had
signed Jasper Cillessen as Bravo's replacement.

Baleria dedicates Rivers Utd's win to Ganaru

chief coach Kabiru Baleria has dedicated their 1-0 win over Rivers United in
the week 32 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) to technical adviser
Mohammed Baba Ganaru. Baleria was
in charge of Sai Masu Gida during Sunday's game at the Sani Abacha Stadium in

United Kingdom, UK-based coach, Obinna Maduike, has tipped Dream Team VI for
the final of the 2016 Rio Olympics Men’s Football event in Brazil. Maduike, who
is on scholarship in the United States as part of the programme to prepare
him to
acquire the prestigious “UEFA B” football coaching licence, is thrilled with the
performance of Samson Siasia and his boys at the ongoing Rio Olympics where the
Nigerian Dream Team VI progressed to the
semi finals of the soccer event.

No hard feelings over Spain trip miss, Says Bata

level student of the Department of Education University of Mauduguri, was among

replaced on the eve of the trip due to Visa problem.

Football Federation and Mr. Gernot Rohr have signed a two –year contract that
will see the former Gabon, Niger and Burkina Faso coach work as Technical
Adviser of the Super Eagles. The simple
ceremony at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja saw NFF President Amaju Pinnick
and General Secretary Mohammed Sanusi signing on behalf of the Nigeria
federation, in-between Mr. Rohr’s own signature.

Nigeria
Football Federation (NFF) have announced Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium,
Port Harcourt as Super Eagles home venue for the 2018 World Cup qualifiers. NFF
President, Amaju Pinnick divulged that the Federation has settled for Port
Harcourt as the Super Eagles permanent home ground for the World Cup
qualifiers.
