The left
footed youngster visited the club secretariat on Friday in Ilorin and was
presented with the team's official kits.
"I am
delighted to join ABS because if you are young and want to develop your career,
this where you need to be. I like
this team and I want to be one of the best through this club. I will
work hard to get merit a place in the main team sooner than expected by God
grace. I am
looking forward to joining my teammates soon," Gata said.
Speaking on
the new Saraki Boys' signing, the Director of Football, Alloy Chukwuemeka, said
the team has been monitoring the youngster for sometime and that he is
delighted to have completed formalities.
He said Gata
will start training with the U-15 team from next week, so he can begin to
integrate into the club's system.
"Don't
forget that the policy of the club is to promote the youth through football and
give them opportunity to play at the highest level. We are
happy to have the new Gata, who I believe is more prolific than the two Gatas
we used to know" Chukwuemeka said.
